quilt sketches

This project is just a simple exercise – a way to document and explore my research and knowledge of quilt patterns and a way to explore and push my own personal color boundaries. (Some of the colors are very hard to capture with a scanner or camera – I do my best to accurately represent each work.) My hope is that this project will become a repository from which to draw images and inspiration for future work. It is also my first attempt to approach a word that I have been pondering for some time - neoAppalachian.
